SAN FRANCISCO Calif. – The Bushnell women's track & field team was in action over the weekend in San Francisco, competing in the Mike Fanelli Track Classic, pulling in a few personal records along the way.

Kyle Will, "and I think today is going to be a launching pad for the next three or four weeks as we finish up our season."

Cyan Kelso-Reynolds continued her impressive freshman campaign as she set a new PR in two events. In the 100m, she finished eighth in 12.67 and in the long jump she took fifth-place with a jump of 5.32 meters. She improved her CCC qualifying marks in both events.

Another freshman,
Cadence Smith, preceded things on Friday in the 3000m Steeplechase. Also a CCC qualifier already, Smith shaved a solid 19 seconds off of her previous best time, running an 11:43.67.

Another personal best came in the 100 meter run where senior
Trinity Hazelitt (pictured) posted a 13.46, while fellow sprinter
Maddii Desemone continued her trajectory with a season-best 12.96.

Another highlight for the ladies was competing in the Distance Medley Relay, where they posted the third-fastest time in school history.
Sidney Lane,
Jordan Lauinger,
Mariah Anderson, and Smith combined for a run of 14:15.19.

UP NEXT: Bushnell will return to action on April 11-12, traveling to Monmouth to take part in Western Oregon University's John Knight Twilight.
