The first-ever Madden competition will take place on Thursday as
Caden Hoerauf takes on Brewton-Parker College on Thursday evening. FIFA kicks off next week as
Andrew Bennett competes in his first match on Monday.
Isaac Bodley competed in Bushnell's first NBA 2K match, falling to Old Dominion University.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (SSBU) dropped their season opener on Monday, 2-0, against Southern Arkansas University. The format of SSBU is 4v4 Crew Battles on a Nintendo Switch. Matches are played as a best-of-three series.
Teamfight Tactics (TFT) also opened the seven-week regular season on Monday.
Zack Claunch, who was placed in the top division of competition, posted third and fifth-place results (10 points), putting him in a tie for 18th on the leaderboard following the first week of play. The format of TFT is an eight-way free for all. Each week will consist of two matches.
Valorant opened their regular season on Tuesday, falling to the University of South Florida, 2-0, as the game two comeback fell just short. The Beacons will take on UNC Charlotte in their next matchup.

THIS WEEK: The Beacons continue CCC action, playing host to Southern Oregon and Oregon Tech.
LAST TIME OUT: Bushnell dropped their CCC-opener last week, falling to Corban University, 3-1 for the second year in a row.
Ruby Daniels got the Beacons on the scoreboard in the 63rd minute off an assist from
Emily Puita, but the damage had been done with an early 2-0 lead for the Warriors.
CONFERENCE OUTLOOK: As the CCC rolls into the second weekend of action, three undefeated teams remain in College of Idaho (2-0), Oregon Tech (2-0), and Providence (1-0).
At 4-0-2 overall, the No. 12-ranked Yotes are the lone team ranked in the NAIA Top-25 coaches poll. Oregon Tech (4-1-1) is receiving votes.
Bushnell is currently ranked eighth in the CCC in scoring with 1.29 goals per game. The Beacons rank 11th defensively, allowing 1.86 goals per game. Individually,
Emily Puita is tied for fifth in the conference in assists with two.
SOUTHERN OREGON: The Raiders come into Friday's contest at 4-2 on the season after splitting their first CCC series at home, 1-1. SOU fell to Multnomah, 2-0 before defeating Warner Pacific, 5-0.
The Raiders are fifth in the CCC in scoring, averaging 2.67 goals per game and they rank second in the CCC defensively, allowing just two goals in their first six matches. Skyler Coleman and Ava Johnson led SOU with four goals apiece while Frida Vargas ranks third in the conference in assists with 3.
Bushnell is still looking for their first-ever victory over the Raiders, who own a 18-0-2 lead in the all-time series. They have won six straight games in that stretch and haven't surrendered a goal to the Beacons since a 1-1 tie in 2018.
OREGON TECH: The Owls (6-1-1) are off to a strong start to the 2024 season and are riding a five-match winning streak, including 6-0 and 3-0 wins over Warner Pacific and Multnomah respectively in their CCC openers last weekend. They are the second-highest ranked team in the conference, currently receiving votes in the NAIA coaches poll.
OIT ranks fifth in the CCC in scoring, averaging 2.62 goals per game. They have the most assists in the conference (20) and they rank second defensively with just six goals allowed through eight games. Kiana Jacobson has scored six goals this season, which ranks third in conference while Brianna Lewis leads the CCC with six assists. Sydney Soskis is close behind with five assists, ranking second in the conference.
Oregon Tech holds a 19-3-1 lead in the all-time series, but Bushnell won last season's encounter in Klamath Falls, 1-0. That game featured a game-winning goal from
Lexis Canyete-Asato, and a five-save shutout for
Lexi Bates in goal.

THIS WEEK: The Beacons look to rebound from their first loss of the season, taking on Southern Oregon and Oregon Tech in week two of the Cascade Collegiate Conference season.
LAST TIME OUT: Bushnell fell to Corban University in the CCC opener last week, 2-1. After giving up a first-half goal, the Beacons tied the game in the 65th minute on a
Jesus Aguilar header, only to see the Warriors sneak out with the victory off a score in the 81st.
CONFERENCE OUTLOOK: After one weekend, there are still five undefeated teams in the conference including three teams (College of Idaho, Southern Oregon, and Carroll) at 2-0. The College of Idaho leads the way with an undefeated 4-0-1 overall mark while SOU (5-2) is currently the only team receiving national attention, ranked No. 24 in the NAIA Coaches Poll. Warner Pacific (5-2) and C of I are receiving votes.
Bushnell (4-1-1) is currently ranked fifth in the CCC in scoring, averaging 2.0 goals per game. The Beacons are tied for third in goals allowed, with opponents scoring 1.0 goals against.
Danny Rojas and
Ian Palma are tied for seventh in the CCC in scoring, each with three goals. Meanwhile,
William Haberfield is currently ranked fourth in the CCC with a 1.00 Goals Against Average.
SOUTHERN OREGON: The defending CCC champions are off to a strong start again in 2024 at 5-2, with their only losses coming at Ottawa-Arizona and No. 21 Westcliff.
The Raiders are currently fourth in the CCC in scoring (2.43 GPG) and tied with Bushnell for third in Goals Against Average at 1.00. Mustafa Daggig has scored seven goals this season and Kaito Nakayama has four assists, both of which currently lead the conference.
SOU has had a men's soccer team since 2015 and in that time they are 10-0-1 against the Beacons. The teams tied their second-ever meeting in 2016, 2-2, but Bushnell has scored just three goals in the last nine games of the series.
OREGON TECH: The Owls (3-3-1) recently rebounded from a three-game losing streak, winning last Saturday against Multnomah, 2-1. They also fell to Warner Pacific the day before, 2-1, giving them a split in their first weekend of CCC action.
OIT currently ranks eighth in the CCC in scoring, averaging 1.43 goals per game. They are sixth defensively, allowing 1.43 goals per game. The Owls have scored ten goals, with Wolfgang Alvarado and Arthur Proost owning two apiece to lead the team.
Oregon Tech holds an 18-6-1 lead in the all-time series and has won five straight games. Due to the schedule rotation and CoVID scheduling, five of those six have been played in Klamath Falls. The Beacons are 5-2 against the Owls in the last seven home games.

THIS WEEK: The Beacons remain at home to take on Walla Walla University and Lewis-Clark State, the teams who currently sit in fifth and fourth in the CCC respectively, just ahead of Bushnell.
LAST TIME OUT: Bushnell split their homestand last weekend, falling to No. 2-ranked Eastern Oregon on Friday night before an epic five-set victory over (RV) College of Idaho on Saturday night.
CONFERENCE OUTLOOK: The upper-echelon of the CCC continues to battle it out amongst themselves with No. 2 EOU, No. 5 Southern Oregon, and No. 7 Corban all sitting with one loss in conference.
Bushnell is currently ranked eighth in the CCC on offense with a .167 attack percentage. They are ninth defensively, holding opponents to a .170 hitting percentage. The Beacons also rank second in the CCC in service aces, averaging 1.96 per set, and third in digs (16.35/s).
Individually,
Leah Agost is tenth in the CCC with a .261 attack while
Amyah Semau leads the Cascade in service aces with 29.
WALLA WALLA: This isn't your mothers' Wolves team. There has been an incredible turnaround in Southeastern Washington, where WWU is currently 6-4 on the season and 5-3 in the CCC. They already have more conference wins then their previous eight seasons combined and have won two conference games for the first time since 2015.
Saraha Browning has been a big reason why the Wolves have improved as she currently ranks second in the CCC with 4.51 digs per set and fourth with a .286 hitting percentage. Danielle Faamausili is second in the conference in assists (6.0/s)
As a team, Walla Walla is third in the CCC in hitting percentage (.203) and seventh defensively with opponents hitting .159.
Bushnell is 24-4 all-time against WWU and currently riding a 15-match winning streak. In that stretch, the Wolves have won just one set, and they haven't taking a set in Eugene since 2015.
LEWIS-CLARK STATE: Currently nestled comfortably into fourth-place in conference, the Warriors come into the weekend as winners of five of their last six games. Beside a 3-0 loss to Walla Walla, all three of their other defeats have been at the hands of two NAIA Top-Four teams, and one team receiving votes.
LC State (9-4, 6-2 CCC) is currently fourth in the CCC with a .194 attack percentage, and fifth defensively, allowing opponents to hit .150 against them. They are ranked second in the conference in digging, pulling in 16.8 digs per set.
Juliauna Forgach Aguilar leads the CCC and is fifth in the NAIA with 4.67 kills per set. Natany Felix Guimara is fourth in the CCC in digs at 4.71 per set.
Bushnell holds a 7-5 lead against the Warriors in the all-time series, but the Beacons are 7-1 since LC State joined the Cascade Collegiate Conference, and have won three straight. The good guys swept the home-and-home series last season with a pair of 3-1 victories.

THIS WEEK: The Beacons are back in action for the first time in two weeks, heading south to Running Y Ranch for the Oregon Tech Invitational. Last year, in their first trip to the Running Y course since 2018, the Bushnell men took ninth-place when it was one of the CCC-counting tournaments. For the women,
Analise Aubin took 19th in the event last season and posted a second-round 80 for the second-best score of her career.
