RESULTS | SPOKANE, Wash.  – The Bushnell women's Track & Field teams competed at the Riverfront Invitational at The Podium this weekend, and saw no less than nine personal records including a new school record in the 3000-meters.
 
Senior 
Kaitlin Cook (pictured) is the owner of her second Bushnell indoor record, claiming the top 3K time in history with a run of 11:29.28. On Friday Cook also landed a PR in the 800m with the second-fastest time in school history (2:30.54) and back in January she also became the 1000m record holder.
 
On Friday, junior 
Maddii Desemone who set a new personal record in the 200m, running the eighth-fastest time in school history at 27.39 seconds to lead a strong contingent of Beacons.
 
On Saturday, senior 
Adrienne Mai continued her remarkable final indoor campaign with two personal bests in the 60m (8.19) and the 400m (1:01.33). Her 400-meter time was the second-fastest in school history.
 
Mikayla Parrish also had a PR in the 60m (8.48) while 
Marae Paggio posted a career-best in the 400m (1:05.35).
 
The women's shot put featured a pair of personal bests with 
Leah Schiewe snagging the #4 spot in the Bushnell record book (10.28m/33'08.75") and 
Ellie Gresham making her Bushnell debut with the No.-6 spot (9.49m/31'1.75").
 
Parrish, Desemone, 
Sierra Janikowski and Mai closed out the weekend in a big way, claiming the fourth-fastest 4x400m time in school history, and the best Beacon time in six years with a run of 4:23.25.
 
Director of Track & Field 
Kyle Will said, "This was a very competitive weekend for us with really tough competition from a number of Division I and Division II schools. Our athletes represented us well, handled a very long weekend and I am very pleased. We will head back up to Spokane next weekend and will just continue moving forward with our eye on the prize in May."
 
Bushnell will be back inside the world class confines of The Podium next weekend, finishing off the indoor track & field season at the Whitworth Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
