Beacons Picked Third in CCC Coaches Poll

CCC 2024 Beach Volleyball Preseason Poll

EUGENE, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference released the first ever Beach Volleyball Preseason Poll on Tuesday.
 
With five teams competing, the CCC will continue to partner and compete with the Cal Pac Conference in a combined tournament to determine one National Qualifier for advancement to the 2024 NAIA National Invitational in April.
 
After an impressive 22-6 record last season and a runner-up national finish, Corban claimed three first-place votes and 23 total points to lead the poll. The Warriors were 12-0 against the other CCC schools last season.
 
Following in second and earning the other two first-place votes was Southern Oregon University. The Raiders were 3-9 against the CCC last season, including three losses to the Beacons, who finished third in the poll. Bushnell was 6-6 in the conference portion of the schedule last season.
 
First-year program College of Idaho was picked to finish fourth, followed by Northwest University in fifth. The Eagles went 3-9 in the CCC last season.
 
The Beacons are scheduled to open the 2024 season in Arizona on February 9-10, facing off against multiple NAIA schools from both the Cal Pac and the Golden State Athletic Conference. The CCC schedule begins on March 1 in Ashland.
