Beacons Crack NAIA Top-10 for First Time

NAIA Beach Volleyball National Rating (April 13, 2026)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - For the first time in school history, the Bushnell Beach Volleyball team has earned an NAIA Top-Ten national ranking as the final regular season poll was released this week.

The Beacons, who have made their way to the "Receiving Votes" category on nine separate occasions over the past five season, finally enter the top-10, coming in at No. 10.

Bushnell (9-14) earned 24 points in the poll to edge out three teams with 22; Hope International (Calif.), St. Thomas (Fla.) and The College of Idaho, who the Beacons defeated and eliminated from the CCC Championship tournament last weekend.

The final at-large bid to the NAIA National Invitational tournament went to Wayland Baptist, occupying the No. 8 spot in the poll. The CCC was well represented in the poll as Southern Oregon earned the top spot for the first time in their history while Corban University came in at No. 3.

The Beacons ended their season with a third-place finish in the Cascade Conference and a third-place result at the CCC tournament.
