SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Freshman
Alec Carne (pictured, above left) added his name to the CCC roster for the first time, leading the Beacons at the Mike Fanelli Classic.

Head Coach
Tom Boldon said, "It has been four years since we have been able to come to this meet, and it was a really great meet for us. It was especially fun to run a few relay races that we don't normally see in meets."
Â
Carne won his heat of the 5000m race with a personal best 15:09.67. He was 72nd in the 188-man race and missed a Bushnell top-ten all-time finish by just three seconds.
