EUGENE, Ore. – The Beacon women's track & field team took advantage of a strong "home" crowd on Saturday afternoon as they claimed three event victories at the Lane Community College Open.
Â
Director of Track
Tom Boldon said, "We had a pretty good meet today and got a closer look at where we really are, due to more ideal conditions then we say in McMinnville last week. The weather was great and our marks reflected it."
Â
Freshman Jenea Robertson claimed victory in the women's 400m run, running a 1:01.42. Teammate
Adrienne Mai also took third place for Bushnell.
Â
Robertson also claimed a second-place finish in the long jump (5.29m/17'04.25"), finishing behind teammate
