EUGENE, Ore. – Five Bushnell men's track & field athletes collected six CCC qualifications on Saturday at the Lane Community College Open.

Tom Boldon said, "We had a pretty good meet today and got a closer look at where we really are, due to more ideal conditions then we say in McMinnville last week. The weather was great and our marks reflected it."

Leading the way was freshman
Nathan Fields who qualified and is now ranked No. 1 in the conference in both the long jump and triple jump. He cleared 6.28 meters (20'7.25") in the long jump and for the second straight week he broke the school record in the triple jump with a leap of 14.26m (46'9.5").

The triple jump was also home of another qualifier as freshman
Ty Kishen is currently No. 2 in the CCC (12.70m/41'8").

The 100m dash saw a pair of conference qualifiers. Freshman
Isaiah Davis (11.03) was the second-fastest collegiate competitor and ranks No. 2 in the conference while defending CCC 100m Champion
Jaron Carter was close behind (11.20) and ranks third in the CCC.

On the distance side of the track, junior
Christopher Rosebrook (pictured) etched his name on the CCC docket in the 3000m Steeplechase after taking second-place with a run of 10 minutes, 14.53 seconds. He is currently ranked No. 1 in the CCC.

Bushnell will compete in two events next weekend. Most of the team will be at the Lewis & Clark Spring Break Open while certain qualifiers will compete at the Oregon Preview at historic Hayward Field.
