Box Score OLYMPIA, Wash. – The Bushnell volleyball team rebounded from a tough loss on Friday night, taking down The Evergreen State College on Saturday in four sets, 26-28, 25-23, 25-20, 25-23.

The Beacons (14-8, 12-6) rallied back after a tough first-set loss, and trailed by as many as six points in the fourth set before out-scoring the Geoducks 7-1 to close it out. Bushnell jumped back into a tie with Northwest for fifth-place.

Bushnell hit .113 on the night and were able to claim the win despite Evergreen (3-19, 3-15) out-blocking 13-8 and holding an 89-81 advantage in digs. The Geoducks cost themselves with 42 unforced errors.

Senior
Brooke Silvernail got the start on the outside on Saturday and made the most of it, hitting .306 with a team-high 14 kills.
Halle Neumann was close behind with 13 kills, adding four blocks. "I am proud of our consistency and how we fought through each set," said Neumann. "We had some really good moments and played our game despite some setbacks."

The Beacons had a strong defensive effort, led by seven blocks from
Celia Hubbard and 26 digs by
Bella Parque, both match-highs.
Laci Jespersen added 16 digs while
Amyah Semau finished with 17 digs and nine kills, along with two aces.

Peyton Ritchie posted a match-high 28 assists. She said, "Evergreen played really well and forced a lot of pressure on us tonight. I was really happy that we were able to overcome the point deficits and prove to ourselves how deep our bench is."

The Beacons will remain on the road next weekend, heading east to take on No. 3-ranked Eastern Oregon University on Friday at 7:00 pm and College of Idaho on Saturday at 5:00 pm (MT).
