Kuskie Closes Season at NAIA Championship

COMPLETE RESULTS | TALLAHASSEE, Fla.  – Rebecca Kuskie finished off the 2022 women's cross country season on Friday as the Beacons representative at the NAIA National Championship race, taking place at Apalachee Regional Park.

Kuskie claimed 251st place, coming across the finish line in 20 minutes, 8.7 seconds. It was Kuskie's second consecutive trip to the NAIA national championship, where she finished in 113th as a junior.

Head Coach Tom Boldon said, "I am very proud of Becca for qualifying as an individual two years in a row.  It's hard to get through a season healthy and to qualify in our conference. She may not have had a good race today, but I really liked the way she went out quick and put herself in good position. She just didn't feel very strong today, and sometimes you have those kinds of days. We all do! I'm glad she can take a break and get some rest before the track season training begins. I'm really excited to see what she can do this winter and spring.  She's got some amazing days ahead of her!"

Kuskie and the rest of the cross country team will return to action in the spring for the track & field season.
