LINFIELD INVITATIONAL RESULTS
EUGENE, Ore. – The Bushnell University women's track & field team added one more name to the Cascade Conference qualifier list on Saturday and showed plenty of improvements as the competed at both the Oregon Relays at Hayward Field and the Linfield Invitational in McMinnville.

Mayah Pappas was the newest name to be added to the field for the CCC championships as she cleared the qualifying mark in the long jump at Linfield with a leap of 5.06 meters. Pappas was also the lead runner for the Bushnell 4x400m relay team that took second-place and posted a season-best time of 4:18.40.

Meanwhile at Oregon, season-best times were set by
Jordyn Edewards (pictured) in the 100m hurdles (15.84) and
Sarah Phillips in the 400m (1:01.74). Edwards improved her CCC qualification and now ranks eighth in the conference. Phillips missed the conference mark by just 0.46 seconds.

Back at Linfield,
Dakota Underwood came within ten inches of a conference standard in the shot-put, tossing a season-best 10.13m.

The Linfield Invitational also featured the track season debut for senior
Tea Chatelain. Fresh off of her appearance at the NAIA Cross Country National Championship, Chatelain took second-place in the 1500m, running a career-best 4:58.74.

Next up for the Beacons will be Oregon State High Performance Meet next weekend, for those who hit their stringent qualification standards.
