Box Score KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Oregon Tech remains undefeated in Cascade Collegiate Conference play after a 78-63 win over visiting Bushnell University in Saturday evening's men's basketball game at Danny Miles Court.

Eddie Alexander said, "We fought as hard as we could to the end. Guys were exhausted after the fight yesterday. The quick turnaround is hard when you have guys out, but I'm proud of them. I tried every type of motivation to get our guys to fight through, but we just didn't have enough tonight. They gave me all they could and that's all I could ask."

The Owls got out to a 14-5 lead through the opening five minutes, but it was the Beacons who held a 36-35 edge at the break.
Luke Smith scored eight points in less than a two-minute span to give the Beacons their largest lead of the night at 55-48 before the Owls surged ahead. OIT outscored Bushnell 30-8 through the remaining 12 minutes to cruise the rest of the way.

Kaden Sand led the Beacons with 16 points on the night. Smith finished with 11 points, while
Dillon Young and
Jarrett Bryant added 10 points apiece.
Logan Sand recorded a team-high five rebounds and four assists. As a team, Bushnell (4-8, 2-3 CCC) finished 44.2% from the floor, 40.9% from three and 61.5% from the free throw line.

Oregon Tech (8-5, 5-0 CCC) was led by Matt Van Tassell's 20 points. Van Tassell shot 4-for-7 from three-point range. The Owls finished just 17-of-33 from the free throw line but made up for it by outrebounding the Beacons 41-28, including a 12-4 margin in offensive boards.

The Beacons will finish off a streak of eight games on the road with an exhibition contest at NCAA Division II Central Washington University on Monday, Dec. 20 at 7 p.m.
