Eugene, Ore. – The Northwest Christian University League of Legends continued play in the 2020 College League of Legends Tournament with a loss to conference rival Oregon Tech on Saturday. 
 
NCU started strong in each of their matches and were dominating the stat lines. The Beacons were led by sophomore Josh Sims (J2J) and freshman Chad Vernon (Rubÿ), who combined, dealt 69% of the total damage for the the team in match one and 72% in match two. With a young team and this being their first official season of collegiate competition, it is evident this team is getting better each day. Minor issues with communication and execution were what stole the victory from the Beacons on Saturday.
