EUGENE, Ore. – The Bushnell University women's cross country team has been picked to finish sixth in the Cascade Collegiate Conference, according to a recent poll of the CCC head coaches.

The Beacons, who finished in fifth-place in 2019, scored 58 points in the poll to edge out Northwest University.

Defending champion and 2019 NAIA National Runner-up College of Idaho owned eight first-place votes and scored 117 points to take the top spot. Southern Oregon and CCC newcomer Lewis-Clark State were neck-and-neck in second and third. Oregon Tech wasn't far behind in fourth while Eastern Oregon closed out the top five.

Corban University was eighth followed by Warner Pacific, Multnomah, and Walla Walla to round out the poll.

After COVID-19 pushed back the start of the cross country season, the CCC Cross Country Championship Meet will take place on March 26, 2021 in Klamath Falls, Ore.
