WOODBURN, Ore. – The Beacons closed out the Multnomah Invitational on Tuesday with the "Blue" team taking third place at the Oregon Golf Association Course.

Drew Schwarz continued his low scoring from Monday, firing a third-round 73 to land in a tie for second-place in the tournament. Schwarz finished with a three-round score of 74-71-73—218, falling to British Columbia's Ethan Degraff by six strokes.

Liam Bedford (pictured) also his best round of the event on Tuesday, adding a 72 to Monday's back-to-back 75's. His 222 was good enough for sixth place

Also competing for the Blue team were

Seth King (25
th, 75-79-80—234), and
Caden Stubbs (27
th, 77-84-74—235).

Leading the Gold team to a sixth-place finish was
Jon Holzgang who took 21
st (76-80-75—231) and
Garison Lyman finishing 24
th (78-79-75—232).

The University of British Columbia won the tournament by 29 strokes over second-place Corban as their team score was just seven-over-par over the three rounds (871). Corban scored 900 while NCU-Blue and Oregon Tech tied for third at 903. Tourney host Multnomah was fourth (916) followed by NCU-Gold (921), Walla Walla (937), and The College of Idaho (978).

Northwest Christian has a short turnaround before their next tournament as they will play on Saturday and Sunday at the Grays Harbor Invitational.
