COMPLETE RESULTS
EAGLE POINT, Ore. – The Northwest Christian University men's golf team opened the spring portion of their season last weekend with the B and A teams taking third and fourth respectively at the Oregon Tech Spring Invitational, taking place at Eagle Point Golf Course.
The Beacon's second team topped the first-time, collecting a three-round score of 944-947. Host Oregon Tech won the tournament with a score of 894, defeating second-place Menlo College by 27 shots.
Individually, senior
Levi Dean (pictured) took seventh place, shooting a 74-77-77—228. He was followed closely by senior
Josh Goins in eighth (80-77-76—233).
Michael Carrillo was tenth at 234 while
Jon Holzgang finished in 13th at 235. In all, eight of the top-20 spots went to Beacons.
NCU will be back in action on April 1-2 when they host their own non-conference Spring Invitational at Emerald Valley Golf Course.
