CRESWELL, Ore. – Shooting a two-under 70 in the second round, senior Drew Schwarz finished in fifth place on Sunday to close out the NCU Fall Invitational and the fall slate for the Beacons. NCU took fourth place as a team.
 
Schwarz was one of just six golfers to post a sub-par Sunday round, and finished his tournament at -2 after shooting par on Saturday. The Beacons posted their second 299 round as a team to finish fourth, six shots behind North Idaho College. Oregon State won the event with a dominating -17 team total to claim a 22-stroke victory over second-place Fraser Valley.
 
NCU's B team was fifth followed by Multnomah, NCU C, and College of Idaho.
