EUGENE, Ore. – The Northwest Christian University Rocket League team continued play in round nine and ten of the NAC Esports Rocket League Tournament this week, going 1-1.

On Monday, the Beacons dominated North Central Missouri College as they won 3-1, 4-0, 3-1. Each member of the roster scored at least once.

On Thursday, the Beacons took on Central Maine Community College losing 1-4, 2-3, 0-3. The Mustangs came out hot in match one dominating the Beacons offensively. By the time the second match rolled around, both teams seemed to be firing on all cylinders. In what was an extremely close match that ended up going into overtime, the Mustangs were able to pull out the victory with their late golden goal.

Both matches were played with Preston Clark (PrestoMagic), Kevin Kaelin (Relyingferret) and  Caitlyn Park (CrazehPanda).
 
Rocket League ends the regular season going 4-6 and will enter the playoffs as a #12 seed. NCU will face USC-Sumter tonight at 5 PM PST. Watch the action live at twitch.tv/gobeacons.
