MONMOUTH, Ore. – Sophomore
Halona Jackson returned to form on Friday at the John Knight Twilight, coming back from an early season injury to grab a pair of qualifications for the Cascade Collegiate Conference championships.

Jackson took second-place in the 100m dash, running a career PR time of 12.76. Then in the 200m she took fifth place with a time of 26.79 to book her ticket in that event as well.

NCU picked up one event victory on Friday as senior
Bailey Dell won the Javelin throw by nearly eight feet. Her mark of 46.74 meters improves her own CCC and NAIA-Best mark.

Also improving her national mark was sophomore
Anika Rasubala who took second-place in the 3000m Steeplechase at 11:21.13. Already an NAIA "B" standard qualify, Rasubala inched closer to the automatic qualifying mark (11:18.00).

The Beacons will return to action in two weeks, traveling to Ashland for the Southern Oregon University Invitational.
