Sophomore
Matt Jones led the way on Friday as the Beacons collected three school-records in their opening go at the Bronco Invite at the Jackson's Track in Boise, Idaho.

Jones broke both the 60m and 200m races in his first ever indoor competition. In the 60m he ran a 7.23 to claim 18th place while he jaunted 200m in 22.87, claiming 11th place.

Jones closed the day as the anchor leg of the men's 4x400m relay team that shaved seven seconds off the preview school record with a time of 3:30.13. Also passing the baton were
Nicolas Delgado,
Antonio Campos-Perez (pictured) and
Josh McCluskey.

On the women's side, freshman
Tea Chatelain led the way, setting a new 400m record with a time of 1:04.17).
Halona Jackson also had a solid day, winning her heat and taking 25th in the 200m at 27.27. She also claimed a 17th-place finish in the 60m (8.08) just 4/100ths of a second off of her own school record.
