Complete Results

EUGENE, Ore. – Junior Alyssa Harmon added another event to her NAIA slate on Friday night, qualifying with an "A" standard in the 1500m at the Oregon Twilight.

Harmon took 8th place in the Division I heavy field, running a 4:37.56, the fifth-fastest time in NCU history. She joins Sierra Brown in the 1500m event for nationals. Harmon has also qualified in the 5000m.

Also competing at the Oregon Twilight was Bailey Dell, taking second-place in the Javelin with a throw of 45.73m. She was defeated by just one NCAA Division I thrower and beat out a number of other high-caliber throwers, most notably, Oregon's Liz Brenner.

Shaneesa Applegate also competed in the Long Jump, posting her second-longest leap of the season at 5.43m.

The regular season will close on Saturday in the Linfield Open with one final chance for a CCC qualification on the line for a handful of competitors. For the rest, all eyes are on the Cascade Collegiate Conference championships, set for May 13-14 in Hermiston.
