GULF SHORES, Ala. – Four More All-American honors for three women on Saturday led the Northwest Christian University women's track & field team to an 11
th-Place finish at the NAIA National Championship.

It was a finish of epic proportions for the Beacons who finish with 23 points and land in the Top-25 for the first time in school history. A total of six all-American honors were achieved by the Beacons, who had never had more than two in and single previous year.

Leading the charge on Saturday as junior
Sierra Brown (pictured) who claimed not one but two All-American trophies with top-eight finishes in both the 1500m and 5000m races. In the 1500m she finished seventh, coming in a 4:33.61.

The 5000m was where she really shined, Â finishing fifth in 17:49.79. She was joined on the podium by teammate
Alyssa Harmon. The junior was just behind Brown in sixth place, snagging All-American honors in the 5k for the second straight year.

The day began with what amounted to the best Beacon finish of the day as
Michelle Fletcher took fourth place in the 3000m Steeplechase to collect her first Track All-American honor. Also competing for the Beacons in the Steeple was junior
Macie Gale, finishing 12
th in 11:19.97.

The four Saturday All-American finishes joined Thursday night's recipients; Sophomores
Bailey Dell (Javelin) and
Rosa Schmidt (10000m).

NCU's 23 point, 11
th-place finish landed them at the top of the heap among Cascade Collegiate Conference schools. The College of Idaho took 16
th place, Southern Oregon was 20
th, Eastern Oregon claimed 30
th, and Corban was 66
