Beacons Receive Votes in NAIA Coaches Poll

NAIA Beach Volleyball Coaches Poll - March 4, 2026

EUGENE, Ore. – The Bushnell Beach Volleyball team has started to turn some heads and are receiving votes in the NAIA national coaches poll for the first time this season.

The Beacons (2-6) grabbed a signature win in late February, topping then-and-still No. 9 ranked College of Idaho with a 5-0 sweep. In addition, five of their six losses have been to teams ranked in the top-ten or receiving votes including 4-1 losses to both No. 1 Ottawa-Arizona and No. 2 Corban.

The Warriors (10-1) are the top-ranked team from the CCC, followed by No. 4 Southern Oregon and No. 9 C of I.

Bushnell is back in the "receiving votes" category for the first time since the first regular season poll of the 2025 season, and are receiving votes for the ninth time in school history.

UP NEXT: This weekend will be the Beacons' weekend to host a Cascade Collegiate Conference round robin series, on Friday and Saturday, beginning at 12:00 pm at the Bushnell/Grace Beach Courts. The Beacons will compete twice on Friday, taking on Simpson University at 2:00 pm and Southern Oregon University at 4:00 pm.  Bushnell has two chances to prove themselves against No. 4, as they take on SOU again on Saturday at 12:00 pm.
