ASHLAND, Ore. – The Bushnell beach volleyball team lost to Southern Oregon University on Friday afternoon, 4-1.

The Beacons (6-11, 5-7 CCC) earned their lone pair win early as
Jazmyn Wilcox and
Olivia Kelzenberg (pictured) claimed a three-set victory at the No. 2 pair. Meanwhile, a Bushnell-record winning streak came to a close as
Laci Jespersen and
Sydney Myhre were upset at the No. 4 spot losing for the first time since February in a heart-breaking 19-17 third-set. The defeat to the Raiders (12-2, 10-1) ended a nine-match winning streak for the all-time greats.

UP NEXT: The Beacons will look to clinch a spot in the Cascade Collegiate Conference tournament on Saturday as they take on Simpson University (0-16, 0-10 CCC) in a pair of matches at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. Bushnell needs just one win to clinch fourth-place in the CCC and a trip to the post-season for the first time since 2024.
