OLYMPIA, Wash. – The Bushnell men's basketball team gave head coach
Eddie Alexander reason to celebrate on Saturday evening with a 96-69 victory over The Evergreen State College, giving the eighth-year coach his 100th career victory at the helm of the Beacons.

Bushnell (11-10, 8-6) posted a 52-35 rebounding advantage and collected 18 offensive boards, claiming a 25-6 advantage in second-chance points and scored 15 points off eight Geoduck turnovers.

Eddie Alexander said, "I was happy to see how well we rebounded this evening and how committed we were to fixing some things. We did not do well yesterday, but I am proud of how we bounced back this evening."

The Beacons were led by
Cory Johnson, scoring 24 points while Keenan "three-camp" Reckamp came off the bench to score 20, going 5-for-8 to improve his Cascade Conference-leading three-point percentage.
Kaleb Burnett added a double-double with 15 points and a game-high 10 rebounds while
Squeeky Johnson finished with 12 points.

"Keenan had a huge game off the bench for us and helped to stretch a nice lead in the first half," said Alexander, "and Kaleb, Squeeky, and Cory did their jobs well."

Evergreen (3-13, 3-11) were led as usual by former Beacon Tony Frohlich-Fair, scoring a game-high 27 points. Kenzel Massey came off the bench to support with 12 points.

UP NEXT: The Beacons currently sit alone in sixth-place in the Cascade Conference with a two-game lead over Corban. The final stretch of the CCC schedule begins on Friday night, as the Beacons come home to face Southern Oregon University at 7:30 pm.
