EUGENE, Ore. – Senior
Leah Agost hit .519 and collecting 15 kills, leading the Bushnell volleyball team to a four-set win over Northwest University on Saturday evening, 25-23, 25-21, 19-25, 25-15.

The Beacons (9-5, 3-1 CCC) took down the Eagles (7-3, 1-3), a team currently receiving votes in the NAIA national coaches poll, behind the strength of 14 service aces and a 54-33 margin in kills. Â Â

Agost (pictured) earned 15 kills with just one error to lead the Beacon offense. Both
Hailey Heider and
Amyah Semau followed with double-doubles including ten kills and 17 digs from Semau. Semau was a huge spark for the Beacons in the first set as they rallied from a 16-5 deficit, sparking a six point run in service.

Heider had 14 kills and 12 digs, adding a pair of aces along with five blocks. The Beacons out-blocked NU 10-4 in the match and also had five blocks from both
Soleil Sands and
Carly Hanna.

Kailey Shirley tied for a match-high with 18 digs while
Emma Fa'alogo led all players with 30 assists.
Julia Cook provided the big arm on the service line with a four aces.

Northwest was led offensively by Kaitlin Mickle, posting 11 kills while Chloe Kennedy added seven kills and two blocks. Senior Libero Masa Spela Jarc earned 18 digs while earning a match-high five service aces.

UP NEXT: The Beacons will be on the road over the next two weeks and will have a tough task ahead, paying a visit to the NAIA's No. 1 ranked Eastern Oregon University on Friday and No. 10-ranked College of Idaho on Saturday.
