COMPLETE RESULTS
ESTACADA, Ore.  – The Bushnell men's cross country team started off their 2025 season on Friday, running a 5000m race at McIver Park, hosted by Lewis & Clark College.  
 
"We had a great day today and I am happy for sure," said Head Coach 
Kyle Will. "We have a lot of potential and I am excited to see what this season will bring for the guys."
 
In a race loaded with NCAA Division I programs, the Beacons were led by junior 
Logan Gant, taking 94th place with a cross country 5000m personal best time of 17:29.12. Following closely was sophomore 
Ja White in 95th (17:35.05).
 
Gant said, "I am really proud of how our team performed today. The season is young, but after today I am excited to see what we can do as we move deeper into training and continue to keep our teammates healthy and racing."
 
Sophomore 
CJ Long also hit a PR in 100th place (17:47.49) while 
Sayer Pescosolido (115th) and 
Miguel Ramirez (116th) rounded out the scoring for the Beacons. Ramirez (pictured) also hit a new personal record at 5000 meters, taking nearly a minute off his previous best at 18:39.86.
 
Also running for the Beacons were freshman 
Ben Patterson (123rd) and 
Andrew Bennett (134th).
 
Bushnell took 11th place in the race.
 
Up next for Bushnell will be Western Oregon University's Ash Creek Collegiate, taking place on September 12th at the Ash Creek Preserve in Monmouth.
