PORTLAND, Ore. – The Beacons played a non-conference tilt against NCAA Division I University of Portland on Sunday afternoon, falling to the Pilots, 5-0.
 
The Beacons (2-7) drop their first non-conference match of the season while with Pilots improve to 2-4 on their campaign.   
 
Four duals in sweeps for the Pilots, but Bushnell's No. 4 team of Sydney Myhre and Laci Jespersen continued their strong season by taking Portland to the limit as they won set two, 21-18.
