Ana Augusto has been named the Cascade Collegiate Conference McDonald's Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, presented by Urban Edge Network.
Â
Augusto led the Beacons to a pair of shutout victories over the weekend as they defeated The Evergreen State College, 3-0 and Northwest University, 1-0. The victory against Northwest was significant, as it was the Beacons first-ever against the Eagles in CCC action and the first of any kind in 19 years.

Â
This is the second CCC Player of the Week honor for Augusto this season.
Â
UP NEXT: The third-place Beacons (6-3-2, 5-2 CCC) will look to set a new school record for CCC victories on Thursday when they play host to Corban University (5-7, 2-5) on Thursday at 4:30 pm.
