CALDWELL, Idaho – The No. 2-ranked College of Idaho defeated visiting Bushnell University, 91-72, in Saturday's Cascade Collegiate Conference men's basketball game at the J.A. Albertsons Activity Center.

Eddie Alexander said, "The guys bounced back well from yesterday. We are dealing with some injuries and guys are giving all they have to fill roles. I truly love this team and how hard they work regardless of the outcome. We will see if we can get a little healthier this week before we are back on the road next weekend."

Bushnell (5-9, 1-7 CCC) trailed 52-35 entering the break but kept pace with the College of Idaho in the second half, batting to within 10 points with nine minutes to play. It was an improved shooting performance for the Beacons compared to the night before as they shot 45.9% from the field, making 10-of-22 from three-point range.

Cory Johnson led all scorers with 22 points on 9-of-19 shooting, adding seven rebounds and four assists.
Squeeky Johnson recorded 16 points, hitting 4-of-7 from beyond the arc.
Luke Smith added 13 points, including a trio of threes, while
Kaleb Burnett finished with nine points and a team-high six assists.

The College of Idaho (11-2, 6-1) had four players score in double figures, led by Johnny Radford's 17 points. Samaje Morgan recorded 15 points and eight assists, while Drew Wyman finished with 16 points and seven boards. Straton Rogers posted a 14-point, 12-rebound double-double. The Yotes shot 47.1% from the field, hitting 10-of-31 from three.

The Beacons are back on the road next weekend, taking on Lewis Clark State College (Jan. 10) and Walla Walla University (Jan. 11).
