Schexnayder Takes 10th at NAIA Championship

RESULTS | MARION, Ind.  – Freshman Jermaine Schexnayder put a little icing on the cake of his incredible debut campaign on Friday, taking tenth-place in the Triple Jump at the NAIA National Championships, taking place at Indiana Wesleyan University.

Schexnayder's first jump was the best of his young career, hitting 14.98 meters (49'2") to add three-and-a-half inches to his own school record set at the conference championships two weeks ago.

His tenth-place finish improves two spots on his indoor national championship finish.

Also competing at the NAIA championships for the Beacons was Kaleo Wellman in the long jump. Unfortunately, the freshman was unable to land a successful attempt.
