CALDWELL, Idaho – For the ninth time this season, the Bushnell beach volleyball team played a 3-2 match and for the fourth time they came away with the victory, knocking off Northwest University in Cascade Collegiate Conference action on the College of Idaho campus.
 
Bushnell (5-12, 3-4 CCC) opened up the match with a quick 2-0 lead with a pair of sweeps. The No. 2 team of Brooke Silvernail and Anessa Stotts won 21-16, 21-12 before the No. 4 pair of Laci Jespersen and Sydney Myhre closed out a 21-18, 21-18 win.
 
After dropping the No. 1 duel, Courtney Isom and Jadeya Hayes clinched the victory at No. 3, winning 21-13, 21-8. Northwest (2-11, 0-7) claimed a three-set victory at No. 5 to tighten things up.
 
Bushnell has one more match in Caldwell, taking on the tourney host Yotes (2-4, 2-4) at 12:00 pm (Mountain Time) on Saturday.
