RESULTS | EUGENE, Ore.  – A handful of Bushnell athletes competed on Saturday at the Oregon Preview, taking advantage of the elite level of competition with multiple personal records.
 
Senior 
Kaitlin Cook (pictured), a distance runner for most of her career, had continued to show fast improvements in shorter events and once again hit personal bests in both the 400m and 400m hurdles.
 
Cook led the Beacons in the 400m, finishing at 1 minute, 2.58 seconds. She was followed closely by senior 
Adrienne Mai, posting a season-best time of 1:02.96.
 
In the 400m hurdles, senior 
Sierra Janikowski also hit a lifetime PR, running a 1:09.03. Cook came in at 1:11.85, taking three seconds off of her personal best.
 
Also competing for the women, junior 
Maddii Desemone posted a 12.88 in the 100m while junior 
Libby Mathis took fifth-place in the shot put and led all NAIA competitors with a mark of 11.73 meters (38'6").
 
On the men's side, two Beacons were active as freshman 
Kaleo Wellman (pictured) took seventh place in the long jump (6.53m/21'5.25"), followed by junior 
Hunter Reininger in 12th (6.05m/19'10.25"). The pair were the top NAIA finishers in the event.
 
Spring Break is upon us and will once again feature a big trip for the Bushnell track & field teams as they head to San Francisco, California to complete in the Mike Fanelli Track Classic, hosted by San Francisco State University on Thursday and Friday.
