BOISE, Idaho – The Bushnell women's basketball team was on the road Saturday, seeing their first taste of action for the 2024-2025 as they took on NCAA Division I Boise State College in an Exhibition contest, falling 87-38.

The Beacons were held to 28% shooting in the game as the Broncos shot 47%, out-rebounding Bushnell 52-24 and forcing 26 turnovers.

Sabrina Flowers led the way for the Beacons, scoring 11 points as she shot 3-for-5 from three-point range.
Libby Mathis added eight points and five rebounds while
Ayden Krupke scored six points with a team-high six boards and two steals. Â Â Â

Teryn Gardner came off the Bench to lead the Broncos with 15 points, shooting 6-for-11 from the field with three triples. Tatum Thompson added a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds while Jayda Clark didn't score, but led the team with eight assists in 16 minutes of work.

The Beacons will play one more exhibition before their season officially gets underway, traveling to face the University of Nevada-Reno Wolfpack next Friday at 6:30 pm. Â
