LAST TIME OUT: Bushnell had a big weekend in Portland, keeping themselves in the playoff conversation with a pair of shutout victories, defeating Warner Pacific 2-0 and Multnomah 1-0.

CONFERENCE OUTLOOK: With two more victories and six more points, Bushnell has moved up to tenth-place in the Cascade Collegiate Conference, but just three points outside of eighth. There is still plenty to be determined over the final two weeks of the season.

No. 11- ranked College of Idaho (10-0-2, 8-0 CCC) remains undefeated and alone at the top of the CCC with 24 points, holding a six-point lead over second-place Oregon Tech. Only four points separate the next seven teams.

Bushnell (5-10, 3-6 CCC) is currently 12th in the CCC in scoring, averaging 1.0 goals per game. The Beacons rank ninth defensively, allowing 1.47 goals per game. Individually,
Emily Puita is tied for ninth in the CCC in assists with 3, while
Lexi Bates ranks third in saves with 6.0/game.

COLLEGE OF IDAHO: The Yotes continue to roll and can clinch at least a share of the CCC regular-season championship with a win this weekend.

C of I leads the conference in scoring, averaging 3.5 goals per game. They are tied with Eastern Oregon defensively, allowing just 0.75 goals per game.

Alexis Eiguren leads the way for the Yotes, ranked second in the CCC with nine goals, averaging 1.67 points per game. The top-ten list is full of C of I players with Natasja Davis scoring eight, Eden Makaafi scoring seven and Larissa Wegner scoring six. Alivia Brenchley holds the second-best Goals Against Average in the CCC at 0.84.

The College of Idaho is 15-2 all-time against the Beacons, and have won ten straight. They won 2-0 last season in the quarterfinals of the CCC tournament.

EASTERN OREGON: The Mounties (6-4-2, 5-3 CCC) are sitting in third-place in the CCC with 15 points. A recent four-match winning streak, in which they outscored their opponents 6-1, was ended by College of Idaho over the weekend.

EOU is tied with the Yotes for the best defense in the CCC, allowing 0.75 goals per game. They are ninth on offense, scoring 1.25 goals per game. Brooke Snyder leads the team with three goals while Ashley Smith and Gracie Hoover have scored two goals apiece. Six different players have game-winners this season. On defense, Madeline Barker leads the conference with a 0.55 goals against average.

Eastern Oregon is 15-3 all-time against the Beacons and have won six straight, including a 1-0 win in La Grande last season.

LAST TIME OUT: Bushnell suffered a pair of tough losses in Portland last weekend, falling to Warner Pacific, 2-1 on Friday and losing to Multnomah on Saturday, 4-3. The Beacons led 1-0 against WPU on Friday with four-and-a-half minutes to play before the Knights scored twice in quick succession to steal the victory.

CONFERENCE OUTLOOK: The Beacons (6-5-3, 2-5-2 CCC) find themselves alone in 11th-place in the CCC, trying to get into playoff contention. The top-eight teams will qualify for the post-season and the Bushnell is currently six points out with the opportunity for 12 points remaining.

(RV) Carroll (9-2-3, 8-1-1) defeated No. 25-ranked Southern Oregon (11-3-1, 8-1-1) last weekend to jump into a tie for first-place in the CCC with both teams already clinching a spot in the CCC tournament.

Bushnell is currently ranked tenth in the CCC in scoring, averaging 1.57 goals per game. The Beacons are fifth defensively, with opponents scoring 1.57 goals against.

With five goals and an assist,
Ian Palma leads the Beacons in scoring with 11 points, followed closely by
Brady Housley with ten. Housley is currently fifth in the CCC with four assists and
William Haberfield is ranked fourth in the CCC with a 1.28 Goals Against Average.

COLLEGE OF IDAHO: The College of Idaho (7-3-2, 5-3-1) is currently tied for fourth in the CCC with 16 points, and tied with EOU last weekend, 3-3.

The Yotes lead the Cascade Conference in scoring, averaging 3.08 goals per game. They are ninth defensively, allowing 1.83 goals per game. Jorge Fernandez leads the team and is ranked fourth in the CCC in scoring with nine goals. Meiden Green is close behind with seven while Eric Hornung has scored six.

The Yotes hold a 19-4-1 lead in the all-time series with the tie coming last season in Caldwell, 2-2 to break a four-game winning streak by C of I.

EASTERN OREGON: Eastern Oregon (5-2-4, 4-1-4) is currently tied for fourth in the CCC with 16 points, and tied with College of Idaho last weekend, 3-3. Â

The Mounties are ranked sixth in the CCC in scoring with 2.00 goals per game, They are third defensively, allowing just 0.91 goals per contest. Daniel Kropf leads the team in scoring with five goals while Anthony Lemus is third in the CCC, holding a 1.09 Goals Against Average.

The Mounties, who have had a varsity soccer program since 2015, hold a 7-1 lead in the all-time series and have won three straight.

LAST TIME OUT: The Beacons completed the all-important season sweep last Friday of No. 22 College of Idaho, taking a 3-1 victory. Then on Saturday, Bushnell came close to shocking the NAIA landscape as they fell to No. 4 Eastern Oregon in five sets after going up 2-0. The Beacons won multiple sets in La Grande for just the second time in school history.

CONFERENCE OUTLOOK: Eastern Oregon, Southern Oregon, and Corban all continue to prove why the CCC is the toughest volleyball conference in the nation as they are currently ranked No. 4, No. 5, and No. 9 in the NAIA poll respectively.

Bushnell (16-8, 11-5 CCC) is fourth in the CCC, two games behind Corban in third and 1.5 games ahead of No. 22 College of Idaho in fifth. The Beacons will clinch a CCC tournament bid with their next victory, or a loss by Northwest University or Walla Walla University.

Bushnell is currently ranked seventh in the CCC on offense with a .183 attack percentage. They are fifth defensively, holding opponents to a .153 hitting percentage. The Beacons are second in the CCC for service aces, averaging 1.9 per set.
Amyah Semau leads the conference individually with 41 aces, averaging 0.48 per set. Â

SOUTHERN OREGON: The Raiders (20-2, 14-2), ranked No. 5 in the NAIA, currently have a firm grip on first-place in the CCC, holding a half-game lead over No. 4 Eastern Oregon University, whom they swept in the regular season.

SOU has the top offense in the conference, hitting .266, while holding down the third-best defense with opponents hitting just .125 against them. They lead the CCC in assists (13.4/s), Kills (14.03/s), Blocks (2.68/s) and service aces (1.95/s). Megan Perry holds the best hitting percentage in the CCC at .407, while Perry and Mackey are ranked in the top-four for kills, both over 3.3 per set.

Southern Oregon holds a 32-5 lead in the all-time series with the Beacons and have won seven straight. The Beacons have taken at least one set in six of those losses, including earlier this season in Ashland. Semau led Bushnell that night with a double-double, collecting a match-high 19 kills along with 17 digs.

OREGON TECH: The Owls (14-10, 7-9) are currently sitting in seventh place in the CCC with a one-game lead over two teams tie for eighth as they look to hold on to a spot in the CCC tournament. Most of their wins have come over teams below them in the standings, but they have won seven of their last ten matches.

OIT is fifth in the CCC on offense, hitting .187, and they are sixth on defense, allowing opponents to hit .154 against them. They are also the top passing team in the conference with 16.88 digs per set, and they are third with opponents earning just 1.19 aces per set against them.

With a 3-1 win in Klamath Falls earlier this season, the Beacons have now won six straight in the series and eight of the last ten, bringing the all-time series into a tie at 19-19. Bushnell is 11-7 all-time at home including two wins last season.
CROSS COUNTRY

THIS WEEK: The Beacon cross country teams will compete in their final tune-up for the CCC championship on Saturday as they host the Bushnell Invitational at Pine Ridge Golf Course in Springfield. The women's race is scheduled for 9:30 am while the men's gun will go off at 10:15 am. Bushnell will be joined in the race by Multnomah University, Northwest University, and Oregon State.

Monday-Tuesday 10/28-29 Â - Tall Timbers Invitational

THIS WEEK: Bushnell will once again host the very unique Tall Timbers Invitational on Monday and Tuesday. The first 18 holes will be played at Eugene Country Club, while the second round will take place at Emerald Valley Golf Course on Tuesday.

The fifth week of Madden will take place on Thursday as
Caden Hoerauf (2-2) plays another best-of-three series. Hoerauf earned his second victory of the season last week due to a no-show by Messiah University. His week-five opponent has not been announced.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (1-3) plays their fifth-week match on Monday, looking to rebound from a loss to Southern Arkansas University. The format of SSBU is 4v4 Crew Battles. Matches are played as a best-of-three series.

Teamfight Tactics (TFT) continues the seven-week regular season on Monday.
Zack Claunch, who was placed in the top division of competition, posted a season-best 15 points (1st, 2nd) last week, moving him up to 21st on the leaderboard following the fifth week of play. The format of TFT is an eight-way free for all. Each week will consist of two matches. Claunch will need to finish among the top 16 in order to advance to the postseason.

Rocket League (1-2) cruised to their first win of the season on Monday, defeating UNC – Charlotte, 4-1, in the best-of-seven series.
