SEATTLE, Wash. – The men's Indoor Track & Field team had a strong showing this weekend at the University of Washington Invitational which closed on Saturday.

Saturday's action was highlighted by Jah'lin Green in the 60m dash as the sophomore set a new PR with a run of 7.36 seconds.
Ty Kishen added a PR in the 400m at 55.17.

In the Long Jump, senior
Hunter Reininger posted a career indoor best 6.14m/20'1.75" to claim the fifth-longest jump in school history.

On Friday,
Jermaine Schexnayder led the way as he made his collegiate jumping debut a good one. Starting in the triple jump, he set the second-longest leap in school history, landing at 13.41 meters (44'0") to take ninth place. Schexnayder closed out the night with the high jump and set a new school record, clearing the bar at 1.90m (6'2.75") and claiming seventh-place.

Also on Friday,
Lucas Hicks (23.97) and Reininger (23.98) finished in the top-30 of the 200m with Jah'lin Green close behind in 31st (24.12). Kishen was also in the triple jump on Friday, hitting a personal record at 12.71 meters (41'8.75") for the fourth-best leap in school history.

Kyle Will said, "The UW Invitational is a very difficult meet with some high-level competition and it was a great experience for our team. Â We are pleased with our effort and everyone handled themselves phenomenally. We are excited to take a larger group to Spokane next weekend"

Bushnell will continue the indoor season next Friday and Saturday at the Riverfront Invitational at The Podium facilty in Spokane, Washington.
