SPRINGFIELD, Ore. –  Carroll College scored with under two minutes to play to force a 1-1 draw with the Bushnell University women's soccer team in Friday's Cascade Collegiate Conference contest at the Les Schwab Sports Park.

Dina Hayes scored her first collegiate goal in the 75
th minute, giving the Beacons (2-3-1, 1-1-1 CCC) a 1-0 lead. Bushnell, who was looking for their first ever win against Carroll (6-0-2, 3-0-1), couldn't hold on as the Fighting Saints scored the equalizer with under two minutes on the clock.
Â
Emma Barron scored the match-tying goal to keep the Fighting Saints unbeaten record intact. Carroll finished with a 10-9 edge in shots.

Head Coach
Halle Meadows said, "It was a really tough, physical game. We thought we had the victory and they took it to us and high pressured us the last 10 minutes. When a defense is getting pummeled like that, a break is bound to happen, and they put an equalizer up against us. Not what we wanted, but we came away with a point."
Â
Up next, Bushnell hosts the University of Providence (Mont.) on Saturday at 3 p.m.
