EUGENE, Ore. – The Bushnell volleyball team lost at home for the first time this season, and ended an eight-match winning streak against The College of Idaho, falling to the Yotes in four sets, 25-17, 25-27, 25-22, 25-18.

The Beacons (9-5, 7-3 CCC) fall into a three-way tie for fourth-place in the Cascade Collegiate Conference while the College of Idaho (10-8, 8-2) sits alone in second-place.

Bushnell hit .105 in the match and held an 8-6 advantage in blocks. The Yotes, however, had 19 more kills than the home team, hit .156 and collected eight service aces while owning a 76-60 advantage in digs.

The Beacons were led on offense by
Halle Neumann, collecting ten kills and two blocks while
Matty Ladd added eight kills and five blocks.
Leah Agost also had 10 kills while
Bella Parque led the team with 21 digs.
Makenna Mosher scored six kills, hitting .500, and also owned five blocks.

Haley McUne posted a double-double for the visitors with match-highs of 13 kills and 24 digs. Â Shelbey Nichol and Gabriella Rios added 12 kills each while Analise Hitchcock led all players with 34 assists.

Bushnell will be back in action at 5:30 pm on Saturday, facing off against No. 4 ranked Eastern Oregon University. The Mounties jumped back into a tie for first-place in the CCC on Friday as they swept No. 5-ranked Corban University in the CCC Game of the Week. Â
