COMPLETE RESULTS

McMINNVILLE, Ore.  – Junior Hunter Reininger added his name to the strong list of Cascade Collegiate Conference qualifiers on Saturday, hitting the Long Jump standard on the head at the Linfield Invitational. It was the final regular-season meet for the Bushnell men's track & field team.  
 
Reininger cleared a career-best 6.24 meters (20'5.75"), hitting the exact qualifying standard to secure his spot on the trip to the CCC championships at Eastern Oregon University next weekend.
 
A host of Beacons saved their best efforts for their last as 23 season or personal records were set at the meet. This included season debuts for sophomore Noah Mancione and freshman Ephraim Webber in the 1500m after dealing with injuries.
 
Also closing out the regular season with season or personal bests were:  

• Sayer Pescosolido, Malachi Muhic, and Isaac Bodley in the 1500m
• Bedford Stevens in the 400m
• Christopher Rosebrook, Muhic, and Bodley in the 800m
• Reininger, David Johnson, Jah'Lin Green, Brett Olmstead, and Nathan Griffiths in the 200m
• Will Callahan and Seth Handman in the 5000m
• Ty Kishen and Green in the Long Jump
• David Lopes in the Discus
• Santiago Galindo and Kilano Loyd in the Shot Put
• Olmstead in the Pole Vault
• Loyd in the Javelin.

Bushnell will be sending at least eight men to the CCC championships, which begin on Friday, May 12 in La Grande. The complete conference roster, including relay team members and right-of-membership selections will be announced early in the week.
