CHULA VISTA, Calif.  – After Bushnell took a 2-1 lead, Park University Gilbert stormed back to claim 2-0 wins at the No. 1 and No.3 pairs to survive and advance in bracket play at the NAIA West Qualifier.
 
The Beacons close out the season with a record of 7-11 while Park-Gilbert (6-9) advances to take on No. 1 Corban University in the semifinals on Friday afternoon.

It was a heart wrenching way for the season to end for Bushnell, but takes nothing away from the vast improvements made by the second-year program which won just one dual during their inaugural 2022 campaign.
