Fields Flies to Fourth Qualification

COMPLETE RESULTS

PORTLAND, Ore.  – After a week off, the Beacon track & field team was back in action on Saturday at the Lewis & Clark Invitational. Freshman Nathan Fields continued his strong debut season with two more Cascade Conference qualifications.

Already a qualifier in both the Long Jump and Triple Jump, and having broken both the indoor and outdoor triple jump records for the Beacons, Fields was able to qualify with top-six finishes in both the 110 meter and 400 meter hurdle events on Saturday.

Head Coach Tom Boldon said, "It has been four years since we have been able to come to this meet, and it was a really great meet for us. It was especially fun to run a few relay races that we don't normally see in meets."

Other Men's Track & Field Highlights: Bushnell will take another week off before returning to action in Corvallis at the OSU High Performance Meet on April 28-29.
