KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – The Bushnell men's basketball team made their 2023-2024 season debut on Friday night at the Cascade-Crossroads Classic, falling to NAIA No. 2-ranked Grace College (Indiana), 97-59.

The Lancers (3-0), defending Crossroads League Champions, shot 55% from the field and hit ten three-pointers while holding the Beacons (0-1) to 28% shooting. The Beacons kept things close for the first part of the game, holding a 16-15 lead before 21-2 run for Grace put the game out of reach.

Bushnell was led by
Tony Frohlich-Fair, scoring 14 points while
Alexis Angeles added 12.
Kaden Sand recorded eight points along with a game-high ten rebounds.

Grace was led by Jake Wadding and Gage Sefton who scored 17 points apiece.

The Beacons will look to rebound on Saturday as they close out the tournament against Bethel College at 3:00 pm.
