SPRINGFIELD, Ore. –  Bushnell University and Multnomah University battled to a scoreless draw in Friday night's Cascade Collegiate Conference women's soccer match at the Les Schwab Sports Park.

Neither side could find the net on Friday night as Multnomah (3-8-2, 1-5-2 CCC) finished with a 9-6 edge in shots. The Beacons (4-4-2, 3-2-2) managed four on frame compared to three for the Lions.

Daniela Gomez just missed the net in the 66
th minute of play, hitting the left post in what was one of the closest opportunities of the match for either side. Megan Castricum led the Lions with two shots. Tai Brennan got the start in goal, grabbing four saves.

The Beacons were led by three shots from
Emily Puita, two on frame.
Lexi Bates recorded three saves.

Halle Meadows said, "We didn't show up to play today and Multnomah took it to us. We had a couple opportunities that we couldn't put away and only came out with a point. Back at it tomorrow."
