SPRINGFIELD, Ore.  – No. 21 Eastern Oregon University shutout Bushnell University on Saturday 9-0, in a Cascade Collegiate Conference women's soccer match at the Les Schwab Sports Park.
 
The Mounties (6-1-2, 3-0-1 CCC) maintain their part of a three-way tie at the top of the conference standings after out-shooting the Beacons, 25-2 and holding Bushnell to just one shot-on-goal, a header try from Faith Palmer.
 
Eastern Oregon scored in the 11th minute and took a 3-0 lead into the intermission. A flurry of five goals in a ten-minute stretch early in the second half put the game out of reach.
 
The Beacons (0-8, 0-3) will hit the road next weekend for the Portland series, taking on Warner Pacific (0-3 CCC) on Friday and Multnomah (0-3 CCC) on Saturday.
