EUGENE, Ore. – The Bushnell University women's soccer team dropped their non-conference finale against Pacific University, 4-2 on Sunday afternoon at Civic Park.

The Beacons (0-5) held a 2-1 lead at the 26-minute mark following goals from
Dejah Wallot and
Brooke Molina, but the Boxers (3-0) went on to score the next three, while holding Bushnell scoreless for the remainder of the match.

Wallot scored just three minutes into the game, collecting a short pass in the box from
Emily Puita for her second goal of the season. The Boxers tied the match in the 25
th minute, but the Beacons answered just one minute later with a goal from Molina. Wallot took a shot, but it was blocked, and Molina took advantage of the play to give Bushnell the 2-1 lead.

Pacific tied the match right before the break and took control of the game in the second half, outshooting the Beacons 12-2. Mirella Garcia led the Boxers with two goals, while Peyton Seals added a pair of assists.

Bushnell opens the Cascade Collegiate Conference season on Saturday, hosting Carroll College (Mont.) at Les Schwab Sports Park.
