EUGENE, Ore.  – The Bushnell University women's soccer team dropped their non-conference finale against Pacific University, 4-2 on Sunday afternoon at Civic Park.
 
The Beacons (0-5) held a 2-1 lead at the 26-minute mark following goals from Dejah Wallot and Brooke Molina, but the Boxers (3-0) went on to score the next three, while holding Bushnell scoreless for the remainder of the match.
 
Wallot scored just three minutes into the game, collecting a short pass in the box from Emily Puita for her second goal of the season. The Boxers tied the match in the 25^th minute, but the Beacons answered just one minute later with a goal from Molina. Wallot took a shot, but it was blocked, and Molina took advantage of the play to give Bushnell the 2-1 lead.
 
Pacific tied the match right before the break and took control of the game in the second half, outshooting the Beacons 12-2. Mirella Garcia led the Boxers with two goals, while Peyton Seals added a pair of assists.
 
Bushnell opens the Cascade Collegiate Conference season on Saturday, hosting Carroll College (Mont.) at Les Schwab Sports Park.
