Box Score McMINVILLE, Ore.  – Bushnell used eight pitchers over eight innings in their first true staff day, but fell to Linfield in the non-conference affair, 11-1.
 
Each pitcher who threw went a full inning. Trenton Hough, Adam Sabatino, Gregory Joe, and David Schwartz all had scoreless innings for the Beacons with both Joe and Schwartz completed 1-2-3 efforts.
 
Jeff Fripp (pictured) led the Beacon offense with three hits, including a monster blast in the top of the fourth inning to help the visitors avoid the shutout. Bushnell collected seven hits in the contest.
 
The Beacons will be back in action on Saturday, playing a scrimmage against Lane Community College at 12:00 pm.
