Men's Basketball Seniors 2022

Men's Basketball Nick Askew, Assistant Athletic Director for Communications

Bushnell Honors Our Men's Basketball Seniors

Eric Marbley Jr.#50 Eric Marbley

In his second season with the Beacons, Eric has played in 18 games. This season he has set career highs for minutes played, rebounds, and assists. As a junior, Marbley was selected as one of just two CCC players for the National Association of Basketball Coaches Honor Court.

Coach Alexander said, "Eric has been a leader since arriving on campus at Bushnell and quickly became a team captain. He is always talking, always encouraging, and always cheering his teammates on to be their best. His love of the game and for his teammates is hard to miss. He is a man of his word and takes seriously his commitment to the program. We look forward to hopefully having Eric back next season as a Graduate Assistant for the MBB team. Thank you Eric for your continued passion and leadership!"

Dillon Young#34 Dillon Young

Dillon is in his second season with the Beacons and has played in 32 games during his Bushnell career. This year he has set multiple career highs including scoring over 100 points. Over the past two seasons he is ranked third on the team in blocks and is second on the team this season.

Coach Alexander said, "Dillon has been a great addition to the program these past two seasons. I like to call him our '6'6" Sniper' as he is often times the hottest shooter in the gym during practices. He has grown to be much more valuable to the team beyond shooting the basketball. Dillon's commitment to his defense and pride in improvement has made him a valuable asset to the team. He will be missed, but we look forward to what God has planned for Dillon in his future."

Nico Wolff#22 Nico Wolff

Nico has been with the Beacons for three seasons and in that time has played in 62 games. He has scored over 200 points and 100 rebounds, and has produced multiple career-best numbers this season. He leads the team in rebounding and blocks this season and is the only player that has started every game this season.

Coach Alexander said, "Nico has made tremendous strides in his improvement since becoming a Beacon. He has been a great teammate and has continually shown himself willing to put the team's needs above his own. I want to personally thank Nico for trusting me as his coach and buying into what it means to be a Beacon. His determination to 'get better' during the off-season created a valuable role for Nico in our program this year. His ability to debate any topic and his fanatical love of LeBron James will be missed."

Logan Sand#10 Logan Sand

Logan is in his fourth year with the Bushnell men's basketball program and has played in the last three seasons. The second-generation Beacon athlete has played in 57 games in his career, averaging nearly eight points and four rebounds per game. He has scored over 430 points, and this season he leads the team in assists with 62.

Coach Alexander said, "Logan is my first 4-year player within the program and the only remaining player from my first season as the Beacon's Head Coach. His commitment to his academic and personal growth has been a testament to the character of this young man. I am truly proud of Logan and all that he has endured on and off the court these past four seasons. He has been a key component in developing a new culture and a commitment to excellence within our program. Thank you, Logan, for your commitment and your loyalty to me as your coach, and to all of your teammates. You will be missed!"
