SALEM, Ore. – The Bushnell Beach Volleyball team made their official debut on Friday afternoon, falling in a pair of duals to No. 7 Corban University. The Warriors swept the Beacons 5-0 in the opener and won 4-1 in the second contest.
The Beacons dropped all five matches in their debut dual, although a few matches stayed competitive until the end including
Madi Trueblood and
Brooke Silvernail taking their No. 3 opponent to extra points in the first set.

Kim Elgarico said, "Our second round of pairs play was much stronger and more consistent than our first and we were excited for Halle and Teja to score our first match win. I think we learned a lot today and we are excited to play them again."
Bushnell will return to Salem on March 8 to take on Corban at 2:00 pm.
