The victory propelled Bushnell (17-10, 12-7 CCC) back into third place in the Cascade Collegiate Conference, where they are now tied with both Evergreen and Southern Oregon with three matches remaining in the regular season.

Head Coach
Jason Corwin said, "This was another good team performance tonight. It was one of the cleanest attacking games we have played and against a really tough opponent. We will enjoy this for a few more minutes and then start getting ready for another tough team tomorrow.

Makenna Northern won the battle with Evergreen's Sierra Wolff. Northern finished with 47 assists and 13 digs, adding four kills. Wolff posted 39 assists with seven digs and three kills.

Â
After the match, Jones said, "We made it a team goal for this weekend to finish what we started and thankfully we did just that tonight."
Â
Kaneshiro said, "We knew going into this weekend that none of the games would be handed to us. They took the third set that we have been struggling to close but we got back on our feet and left everything on the court in the fourth set."
Â
"I am proud of how our team finished strong and had great energy all match long," added Neumann. "Another win tomorrow night is very important for us and this was exactly the momentum that we needed."
Â
Bushnell closes out the penultimate weekend of the regular season on Saturday evening, taking on Northwest at 5:00 pm. The Eagles (13-14, 9-10) are desperate to keep their own post-season hopes alive, while the Beacons can clinch a post-season berth with a victory.
