WOMEN'S SOCCER

Friday 10/21 vs Southern Oregon, 12:30 pm (Livestats | Video Stream)
Saturday 10/22 vs. Oregon Tech, 12:30 pm (Livestats | Video Stream)

Bushnell (0-14, 0-9 CCC) fell at the University of Providence and Rocky Mountain College last weekend. There are just three games left in the regular season, all at home, beginning with this weekend's matches with the Raiders and Owls.

The Beacons are led by Dejah Wallot, who has tallied five goals and three assists on the year, putting her in a tie for ninth on Bushnell's single-season goals list. The senior ranks seventh in the conference in scoring. As a team, Bushnell ranks ninth in the CCC in scoring, averaging 0.79 goals per game.

SOUTHERN OREGON: The Raiders (6-4-3, 5-1-2 CCC) were named the Under Armour Team of the Week after a 4-0 upset over No. 25 Eastern Oregon followed by a 1-1 draw with No. 22 College of Idaho. SOU has just one loss in conference play, a 1-0 defeat at Northwest to put them in a tie for fourth place in the conference standings.

Southern Oregon ranks seventh in the CCC in scoring, averaging 1.23 goals per game. The Raiders are second defensively, allowing just 0.56 goals per contest. Jessie Selby ranks second in the conference with a .904 save percentage through nine matches. The Raiders are 16-0-2 in the all-time series with the Beacons.

Friday's game will also include a homecoming of sorts as former All-Conference player Britnee (Joaquin) Ely makes her return to Eugene as a member of the coaching staff for the Raiders.

OREGON TECH: The Owls (4-3-4, 3-2-3) rank seventh in the conference after a 1-0 loss to No. 22 College of Idaho and a scoreless draw with No. 25 Eastern Oregon in their last time out. Oregon Tech has three scoreless ties on their conference record this season.

OIT ranks eighth in the CCC in scoring, averaging 1.00 goals per game. They are sixth defensively, allowing 0.82 goals per contest. The Owls are led by Maddie Miller, who has recorded five goals on the season.

Oregon Tech holds a 18-2-1 advantage in the all-time series with Bushnell.

MEN'S SOCCER

Friday 10/21 vs Southern Oregon, 3:00 pm (Livestats | Video Stream)
Saturday 10/22 vs. Oregon Tech, 3:00 pm (Livestats | Video Stream)

The Beacons (4-10-1, 2-8 CCC) were able to end a seven-game losing streak last weekend, handing a 2-1 loss to Providence. They will look to continue some of that momentum over the final two weeks of the season.

Bushnell is currently ranked tenth in the CCC in scoring, averaging 1.50 goals per game. The Beacons are 13th in the CCC defensively, allowing 2.86 per contest. Sophomore Caleb Burke, who has set a new single-season scoring record, is fourth in the conference in goals with 10.

SOUTHERN OREGON: The Raiders (9-5, 6-3) come in off a 3-1 loss to The College of Idaho last week, but had previously put together a six-game winning streak. SOU sits in a tie for fourth-place in the CCC with 18 points.

The Raiders offense is led by Sam Walker, who has scored eight goals. As a team, SOU averages 2.64 goals per game, which ranks fourth in the CCC and they are also fourth defensively, allowing 0.86 per contest.

SOU, which has had a men's soccer team since 2015, is 8-0-1 all-time against the Beacons and have won seven straight.

OREGON TECH: The Owls (9-1-2, 8-1) are knocking on the door at the top of the CCC, sitting just three points behind No. 20 Warner Pacific and No. 23 Corban. They are riding a six-match losing streak since they fell to Southern Oregon in their only loss of the season.

Oregon Tech ranks third in the CCC in scoring, averaging 3.25 goals per game, and are third defensively, allowing 0.83 goals per game. Cade O'Neill leads the offense, with 11 goals scored.

Bushnell is 6-16-1 all-time against OIT, but the Owls have won four straight.

VOLLEYBALL

Friday 10/21 vs. Oregon Tech, 7:00 pm - PINK OUT (Livestats | Video Stream)
Saturday 10/22 vs. Southern Oregon, 7:00 pm (Livestats | Video Stream)

Bushnell (15-9, 10-6 CCC) rolled to a pair of road victories last weekend, sweeping both Multnomah and Warner Pacific. The Beacons currently rank seventh in the CCC for attack percentage (.186) and are sixth for defensive hitting, allowing opponents a .155 clip.

MILESTONES AND RECORDS: Saturday proved to be a banner night for Jessica Northcutt as the senior before the fourth player this season, and 12th all-time, to cross the 500-kill milestone for her career. The Beacons also have one school record about to fall as senior Payton Jones is sitting on 244 career block assists. She needs 4 more to break Natalie Downes' career record. Jones also has 287 total blocks and is closing in on becoming just the second player ever with 300 blocks in her career.

CCC LANDSCAPE: While No. 1 ranked Eastern Oregon and No. 3 Corban have ran away with the top-two spots in the Cascade Collegiate Conference, the race for third and the fight for the six spots in the CCC tournament are still being hotly contested. With an SOU loss to Oregon Tech on Tuesday night, the Raiders now sit in a three-way tie for third-place with Bushnell and Evergreen at 10-6. Meanwhile, LC State and Oregon Tech are tied for sixth-place at 9-7 and Northwest is close behind in eighth at 8-8. There are still three weekends remaining in the regular season and six games remaining for each team.

OREGON TECH: If the playoffs started today, the Owls (12-10, 9-7 CCC) would be on the outside looking in as they are tied for sixth-place in the CCC but lose the tie-breaker to LC State. Originally picked to finish third in conference, OIT has won five of their last seven and knocked off Southern Oregon at home on Tuesday night.

The Owls are fueled by their efficiency as they rank second in the CCC in hitting with a .230 attack percentage. They are eighth defensively (.180 against). As a bi-product, they are also second in conference in assists (12.39/s) and kills (13.16/s).

Oregon Tech owns the lead in the all-time series between the schools, 19-14, but after losing the first nine meetings from 2006-2010, the Beacons have gone 14-10 including three of the last four meetings. The Beacons won in Klamath Falls in September (22-25, 18-25, 27-25, 26-24, 15-8) in an epic comeback that including fending off a match-point in the third set.

SOUTHERN OREGON: The Raiders (16-7, 10-6) are not a team to be taken lightly. They have spent time in the NAIA Top-25 this season and they are one of two teams tied with the Beacons for third-place in the CCC.

Southern Oregon is third in the CCC in hitting (.226) and third in opponent hitting (.137). They are also the second-best blocking team in the conference, averaging 2.20 blocks per set.

With their five-set win earlier this season in Ashland, SOU is 27-5 in the all-time series. The Beacons did win the last meeting in Eugene, defeating the Raiders 3-0 last season.
